Luke 2:22-32
By the Law of Moses all first born children were to be dedicated to the Lord, just as first fruits belong to the Lord by our tithe. Today we celebrate not just Jesus being dedicated to His Father but the Father dedicating Jesus to us. He is our salvation, the hope of the world. In turn, we all are dedicated to Him by our Baptisms living lives that glory Him and draw people closer to Him.
