Skit – a NuParable about Passover
Cast:
Reporter [R) : Man or woman dressed in typical biblical costume
Greek Man [G): An ethereal thinker, a la Plato, Socrates, with a hippie/surfer demeanor. Wearing a toga and sandals.
Jewish Man [J): a Tevyah-type Papa [Fiddler on the Roof), wearing Biblical costume, head covered.
Christian Man (C): wearing traditional biblical costume, but no head covering, appearing casual.
Props:
- Hand-held microphone, or toy microphone
- “Lamb”: stuffed animal, white dog, or dog in a costume such as fabric covered with cotton balls or pom-poms.
- Wicker basket
- Bunch of grapes
Setting:
An outdoor market, Jerusalem, 5 A.D.
