John 17:1-11
During His time on earth, there were those who asked Jesus to demonstrate His glory. He would say His time had not yet come. That time came on a cross. That was the place Jesus brought glory to the Father. And we, His people, as we follow Him to the cross, reflect His glory in a way the world does not expect not by works of show or power or demonstrations of success but by surrendering our will to His, and in our obedience to Him at the cost of our lives, we lift high the cross, pointing to the love of God.
