John 10:1-10
In the previous chapter, Jesus healed and saved a blind man. The Pharisees were furious that Jesus healed this man on the Sabbath, and Jesus pointed out their spiritual blindness. In chapter 10, Jesus began speaking in parables, calling Himself the Gate for the sheep, the way of salvation. The enemy, Satan, is like a thief whose intention is to kill, steal, and destroy the sheep. We all need a Savior to save us from sin and heal us both physically and spiritually. Jesus, our Savior, our Shepherd, came to give us life, and life abundantly!
