Matthew 14:13-21
Spending the day healing the sick in the crowds, Jesus used dinner as a miracle opportunity to show God’s power. Having only five loves of bread and two fish, Jesus multiplied the food and the disciples dispersed the meal to the crowd of five thousand. The crowd got their fill and there was even leftover food! There are many times in Scripture where we can find lessons during meals. Jesus uses the physical need for food to demonstrate the power of God to heal and answer our deepest spiritual needs.
