Matthew 25:1-13
The kingdom of heaven is like ten virgins who went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of the virgins were wise enough to have oil for their lamps, while the five foolish virgins brought none and missed their chance to attend the wedding banquet with the bridegroom. This parable reminds us of the urgency to be prepared, for at any moment, the Lord will return for His bride. Will you be like the foolish bridesmaids, fumbling at the last minute to get your ducks in a row? Or will you be like the wise bridesmaids, prepared in advance for the glorious coming of the bridegroom? Are you ready?
