In the gospel account for today, Jesus draws a distinction between giving to Emperor Caesar and giving to God. When paying taxes, you can’t help but see the human image on the coin for payment is Caesar. When we look at God, we can’t help but think of the Genesis passage (Gen. 1:26) which states that humans have been created in the image of God.
