1 Corinthians 1:23
The cross looked like the end. It looked like failure. The plan of God broken. The wisdom of God emptied of meaning. The hope of the world brought to nothing.
Yet the cross is the plan of God – for His Son, and for us.
God will always lead us to a cross. He will always lead us to a place of brokenness. He will always lead us to the point where everything of our own lies shattered around us. He will always bring us to the end of ourselves, for that is where He takes over.
