Description
John 11:32-44
Death had no power over Jesus and He proved it when He called out Lazarus from his tomb four days after he died. Jesus again proved that God’s glory would be made known when He rose from the dead on the third day after His resurrection. One day death will no longer exist as God will make His eternal dwelling with His people. Until that day, let us firmly continue in our faith.

Pastor We look forward to the day when we can see you face to face. We can’t wait to be with You!
ALL Our spirits ache to be with you in glory.
Opening Prayer / Theme Introduction
Pastor Holy King, we rejoice in you. We are filled with gladness that You prepared the way
before us. A beautiful picture of purity and holiness You painted for us, and we
are so blessed to have Your Word in written form. Strengthen us for the persecution that
lies ahead. By Your grace alone we pray,
ALL Amen.
Time of Confession and Forgiveness
[Alternate location: following Message]
Pastor Father God, we confess to you our sins and hide nothing as You see everything.
ALL Even our deepest layers, You see.
Pastor With humility, we bow before You and ask for Your forgiveness. We ask that the blood of
Jesus would wash us white as snow.
ALL We receive Your forgiveness for our sins, and we say thank you, Jesus.
Pastor Psalm 149:4 says,
ALL “For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.”
Pastor We aren’t looking for crowns, but we do seek humility, Great and Mighty King!
Through You, we are victorious over the enemy!
ALL Thank you, Jesus.
We Hear God’s Word

First Reading Isaiah 25:6-9
In this prophecy, “all peoples” will share in a great banquet prepared by the Lord and He will end death forever through the salvation offered by His Son.
On this mountain the Lord Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine—the best of meats and the finest of wines. 7 On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations 8 he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people’s disgrace from all the earth. The Lord has spoken. 9 In that day they will say, “Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us.
This is the Lord, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.”
