Matthew 14:22-33
Imagine seeing a ghostly appearance walking toward you on water while you were boating on a lake. This is exactly what happened to the disciples! Peter needed proof that this ghost was actually Jesus, so he asked Jesus to call him out of the boat. Jesus did so and Peter, distracted by the wind, began to sink. Crying out in a desperate voice, Peter yelled, “Lord save me!” Just like Jesus saved Peter, the Lord saves those who believe and call on His name.
