Luke 1:26-38
“I am the Lord’s servant” was the answer that Mary gave to the angel who told her that she would conceive and give birth to Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit. Can you imagine receiving such news? The angel told Mary, “Do not be afraid.” No matter the plans we make for our own lives, the Lord’s plans will prevail. Trusting God’s plans can be scary at times, but we are not to fear for the Lord is with us like He was with Mary.
