Mark 13:24-37
Jesus made it clear that no one except for the Father knows when the end will come. However, he also made it very clear that while we need not try to figure out when the end is coming, he did tell us to stay alert and pay attention to the signs that it is coming. Why stay alert? So, that we are prepared for it and stay away from the threatening dangers of sin. That we might remain blameless until he comes. Stir us up Lord to stay alert!
