Matthew 15:21-28
Jesus responded to a pleading woman’s great faith by healing her demon-possessed daughter. This Canaanite woman, an outcast, was viewed as a “dog” and yet her persistence in asking Jesus for her daughter’s healing stirred His heart. Her suffering daughter was healed because of her mother’s faith. Status holds no weight in the Kingdom of God, but great faith and persistent prayer moves the heart of the Father to answer.
